Mantis Collection becomes major sponsor and travel partner to Wormsley Cricket
In keeping with the group’s ethos of ‘Conserving a Vanishing Way of Life,’ boutique hotel portfolio Mantis Collection has been named a major sponsor and official travel partner of the quintessentially English Wormsley cricket ground in Buckinghamshire.

The iconic ground, created by the late Sir Paul Getty on the Family’s Estate has been described as the most beautiful cricket ground in England and anyone who has watched or played cricket there will never forget the experience.

The Mantis Collection, which counts the new 5-star country house hotel in Cheltenham, Ellenborough Park; Côte d'Azur mansion Cap Estel; and London city gem The Draycott, among the jewels in its crown, felt that a tie-up with Wormsley was a natural fit.

Mantis Group Marketing director Michelle de Klerk said of the joint venture: “With Mantis being a collection of distinctive and privately owned boutique hotels, game reserves and eco experiences, a very natural synergy exists between Wormsley and our group and we are very proud to be associated with such an exclusive and historic ground.”

The Mantis Group is a private collection of award winning, privately owned, five star properties located around the World. Divided into 3 distinct groups, our specialist areas include Boutique Hotels, Game Reserves & Eco Lodges. All of the properties are unique and celebrate the culture, gastronomy, architecture and nature of the locations in which they are found.
