Wormsley cricket ground will once again host the final of the British Universities & Colleges Sport Men’s Cricket Championship this summer.

Some of the finest emerging cricketers in the country will be on show, hoping to join a distinguished list of players that includes the likes of Michael Atherton, Nasser Hussain, Nick Knight and Monty Panesar, who have gone onto represent England at the highest level having played for their University in the BUCS cricket competitions.

Last year Cambridge MCCU won a high scoring fixture against Durham MCCU by 24 runs. This year the final will be between Leeds Bradford MCCU and Loughborough MCCU.

Student tickets are only £5 and include the first drink (soft drink/bottle of beer). In addition, Red Bull will be providing a music Wigwam area.
Shuttle busses to and from High Wycombe train station will be put on during the day, leaving from 9.30am – 11.30am and 6.00pm – 8.00pm meaning access is easy. A return ticket costs just £5.00.

There is also an opportunity to carry on the celebrations as Bucks Student Union host an after party. Shuttle buses returning to the train station will also drop off via the Bucks Student Union on their way.

Hospitality packages include your match ticket, car parking, tea, coffee and home made biscuits on arrival, 2 course lunch and afternoon tea. A full selection of wines and champagne as well as a fully licensed bar will be available throughout the day.

Jamie Oliver’s Fabulous Feasts will be on hand to supply numerous food and beverage options for public consumption throughout the day.
